This
innovative CD brings the energetic perspectives of Healing Touch for
Animals® Techniques into music, capturing the resonance
represented by each technique in a unique way. The sound travels through
the body promoting a movement of expansion and contraction that helps
release blockages held within the body. It provides an additional tool
to assist the animals and their people with relaxation, allowing the
body to regulate the immune system and creating an avenue for self-healing.

Animals
This
music can be played during the day or night in any animal environment.
Play this music in your home, veterinary hospital, barn, training facility,
pet care center, shelter or zoo to provide a calm and healing environment
for domestic or wild animals. This music can provide strengthening for
healing, focus for competition, calming for stress and a greater connection
for animals to their people.
People
Listening to this music will create a calm, relaxing environment. You can use this CD as background music during your daily routine or use with headphones for a deeper relaxation. This music is created to break-up chronic tension to help the body heal itself. You can listen by yourself or with your animal. This music is wonderful for massage.
Music Expectations
It is important to allow yourself to separate your normal consciousness and musical expectations about traditional music. The sound moves through the body promoting a movement of expansion and contraction that helps release blockages held in the body. Bring yourself to a place of awareness to absorb the relaxation and healing potential created by the movement of the music.
Low Volume Use
For animals, always use a lower volume. If you are using the music for people and animals at the same time, keep the volume lower, using it as background music. Animals are more sensitive to sound because of their instinctual nature. If you see them moving away from the music, lower the volume and allow them to find a comfortable place to take in the effects of the sound.
While Home Alone
This music is excellent support for an animal that is left at home while the owner is away. Remember to use a low volume setting due to the animal's natural sensitivity to sound. If you plan to repeat the CD throughout the day, set the volume extra low, as the sounds are accumulative and will build the effect as it plays.
Use During Training
The music will provide a calming effect to bring about more focus during any training. This CD is excellent to use as background, whether for a new puppy learning obedience or in an arena while training for high-level competitions.
Music Collaboration
“My
personal experience and training with the Inner Sound®
teachings has motivated me to collaborate with Arden Wilken. My goal
was to bring the energetic perspectives of the Healing Touch for Animals®
Techniques into music; Arden has captured the resonance represented
by each of the HTA Techniques in a unique way. It is my hope that the
music in this CD provides an additional tool to assist the animals and
their people with relaxation, allowing the body to regulate the immune
system and create an avenue of self-healing.”
- Carol Komitor, Founder, Healing Touch for Animals®
“I enjoyed enormously working with Carol to create this CD. Carol explained the energy technique represented in each track; then, I chose the best instruments to use to translate the movement of the energy into music. While I was composing, Carol facilitated the technique for both of us so I could feel it live. I am very pleased to have the opportunity to use my talents, as a composer and sound therapist, to create music for animals and their people to help support Carol's work and program.”
-Arden Wilken, INNER SOUND Co-Founder

Inner Sound®
INNER SOUND is an original system of sound and therapeutic music developed since 1978 by Arden and Jack Wilken. Sound regulates many biological processes in the body. It travels throughout the acupuncture meridians and energy channels (chakras) that flow through the connective tissue (fascia), creating coherence at all levels in the organism, including the radiant energy fields surrounding the body. Where it resonates most strongly in the body depends on the kind of sound used. All of the CD titles of INNER SOUND promote the body's natural movement of expansion and contraction, allowing it to find its own way to resolve and release chronic tension and trauma. Visit the INNER SOUND website.
Arden Wilken Arden has worked for over 25 years in the field of sound therapy and therapeutic music. She holds degrees in Music Theory and Stenographic Arts. She travels extensively throughout the world teaching and demonstrating the effects of sound on the human organism. She has composed over 20 CDs to promote deep relaxation and well-being. Together with her husband, Jack, she has created a full range of courses on sound therapy offered through the School for INNER SOUND.
SSRS (Spectrum Sound Resonance System) SSRS is a range of psycho-acoustic effects recorded with the music to enhance its effect developed by Jack Wilken. These effects help the central nervous system focus, thereby promoting relaxation more quickly. This CD was recorded by Jack Wilken.
Healing Touch for Animals®
Healing Touch for Animals® (HTA) is an energy-medicine therapy that bridges holistic animal healthcare with traditional veterinary medicine. In the HTA program, students learn how to assist animals with their health and well-being through the HTA Techniques. The workshops, consisting of four-levels, lead to certification as a Healing Touch for Animals® Practitioner. The HTA workshops teach participants how to assist their animals with healing of injuries, illness, physical and emotional trauma and how to work with behavioral issues. During the weekend workshop, hands-on experience provides the participants with easily applied applications as they work with dogs and horses. Other species such as cats, birds, aquatics and exotics are discussed during the teaching. The HTA workshops are open to anyone interested in learning holistic healthcare techniques-veterinarians, veterinary technicians, animal healthcare providers, trainers, pet owners, kennel and rescue center operators and animal lovers. HTA is also taught to communities internationally.
