healing process and create change in the patterns of chronic illness
or misbehavior. Carol’s enthusiasm shines as she shares HTA/KHM
with her students. Her integrity, professionalism and dedication to
cooperative applications to veterinary medicine comes through as she
presents the HTA/KHM curriculum. She sees the diversity of her classroom
participants and honors each one as they bring their own special talents
to the HTA work. Read more about Carol.

Kim Thornton

A graduate of Rice University, Kim had a successful career in human resource management and corporate real estate before establishing a private holistic healthcare practice. While Kim works with a variety of animals, her passion is to use Healing Touch for Animals® (HTA) with competition horses in support of their special needs. Kim has spent her lifetime around horses, training and competing in hunter-jumpers and 3-day eventing. Kim currently studies and competes professionally in dressage and enjoys helping horses and riders work in harmony to achieve their potential. Kim and her husband, Bruce, share their 30 acre farm with a large family of cats and dogs.
“Through HTA, we have an opportunity to develop a deeper connection with our animals, supporting them physically, emotionally, and spiritually. It truly is an honor to feel that core connection with another being and experience the oneness that connection brings. As a member of the HTA team, I am blessed with the opportunity to share this knowledge with others through the workshops and expand energetic awareness in our communities.”
