HTA Certification Program

Healing Touch for Animals® Certification is a measurement of your knowledge and understanding of the underlying information you need to make sound judgments and can cause you to begin a journey toward animal healing. The Healing Touch for Animals® (HTA) Certification Program is designed to aid you and the clients that you, as a practitioner, serve. The Healing Touch for Animals® Certification Program is impartial, valid, fair, reliable and replicable. As a devoted healer, you deserve a certification program that can stand up to scrutiny and of which you can be proud.

Certification validates your knowledge, your ability to remain current with the HTA energy-medicine curriculum and it displays an overt recognition of your knowledge and skills. It is a distinction that inspires confidence among prospective clients. You've already done the hard work; now apply for the distinction that can help you be more successful in completing your journey.

  • All members of the Healing Touch for Animals® (HTA) Certification Review Board have signed and agreed to the HTA Certification Review Board Agreement outlining their duties and responsibilities. 
  • All board members will ensure each HTA Certification Applicants packet was reviewed without bias and in a professional manner.  
  • All board members agree to uphold the integrity of the organization and believe in the purpose and mission of HTA.
  • Finally, all board members are considered a trustee of Healing Touch for Animals® and have signed an HTA Confidentiality Agreement.

Frequently Asked HTA Certification Questions:

    What are the recommended books to fulfill the reading requirement for Certification?
    Visit our Bookstore. Any of the reading materials listed there are acceptable for Certification purposes.

    I mainly use Healing Touch For Animals® Techniques when working on animals, but I also use other techniques and sometimes even just try new things. For the purposes of HTA Certification, should I only use HTA Techniques?
    Other modalities may be used in conjunction with an HTA Technique; however, only the HTA Technique(s) will be reviewed for certification purposes.

    What is the definition of a “long-distance” or “distance” treatment?
    Distance work is anything that is not hands-on. For example, working on a cat that is sitting on the couch across the room, working on a horse from the alleyway, or working on fish in an aquarium are all examples of distance work.

    Healing modalities related to animals: Are these modalities to be done within the certification period or can they be modalities done in the last few years?
    You may submit the Healing Modalities related to animals as you have attended them.

    Does Recertification done within the required time frame involve only the fee and 50 CEU's?
    Yes

    Under Networking Contacts can I use a farrier as one of my networking contacts?
    Yes, that will be acceptable.

    Under HTA Experience Narrative can I use a story that I did in tandem with other HTA Practitioner(s) or would you prefer that I use a story that I experienced on my own?
    Yes, you may use a story involving another HTA Practitioner. Please be sure to document and identify both HTA Practitioners.

    What is the definition of the treatment classification, “Disease”?

    Some examples of diseases are: cancer, diabetes and epilepsy.

    What is the definition of the treatment classification, “Illness”?

    Some examples of illness are: flu, worms, allergies and urinary-tract infection.
